The sparkling coastline offers pristine beaches for surfing, whale-watching, frolicking dolphins and flocks of seabirds. Beautiful urroundings attract creative personalities – artists, writers and musicians to places like Byron Bay. Colourful local festivals brim with arts and crafts, kites, crystals and delicious local produce.

The Gondwana Rainforests of Australia cover more than 50 national parks and wilderness areas, from Mt Warning to wildlife-rich Barrington Tops.
